Core Beliefs

Instruction is an active process involving both teachers and students. Effective practices engage multiple learning styles and intelligences that enable students to construct their own meanings.
 

Assessment is authentic, meaningful and embedded so that students reflect on their learning.  It is used to drive instruction.

Curriculum is articulated, integrated, innovative, personalized and intriguing. Furthermore, it is aligned to grade level, district, and state frameworks supported by a rich base of materials and resources.  It is a combination of process and content that is relevant and applicable to the student.
